About

I have enjoyed photography for many years, but only since the advent of digital cameras, have I taken a deeper interest in photography. My husband, Andrew and I, live in the small country town of Bowral in the Southern Highlands, NSW, Australia – approximately 120kms south of Sydney. Here there is ample opportunity to take some wonderful photos of the stunning countryside and bush in this region which has sometimes been described as being more ‘English’ than England!! The Tulip Time Festival is very popular with visitors who come from far and wide, including overseas!

I love taking photos of beautiful flowers, land and sea scapes, animals, the insect world and much more! I rarely use image enhancement or editing tools so what you see is usually what my camera sees.

I started out with a simple little 4MP Canon PowerShot A85 which has been a great starting camera. I upgraded and ventured into the world of DSLR cameras in late 2008, buying a Sony Alpha a200 DSLR! Watch this space as I learn to use this new camera! :)

And finally, I want to give my beloved sister, Glen, a bit of a ‘plug’ here as she is a wonderful artist and Life Enhancement Coach living in beautiful Southern Spain. This is her personal website – Glen Ladegaard
